Top 10 of The Worst Fashion Trends
By: Alexa Calderon Feb 17, 2018
Fashion tells a lot about a person’s character. Fashion designers have the ability to create beautiful and trendy products that appeal to the public. There are also some clothing items that need to be burned and buried deep in the ground. These are 10 of the worst fashion trends of 2017.

1. Clear Knee Mom Jeans
To kick off the horror trends, there were the clear knee mom jeans. These jeans appear to be normal cutoff jeans but with the knees cut out and clear plastic sealing the holes.
2. Clear Shoes
Another clear fashion product is clear shoes. These shoes come in boots or heels. They are completely clear and are not very comfortable.

3. Fast Food Fashion
Everyone enjoys fast food. But fast food fashion is unnecessary. Purses and sweaters with the McDonald's logo are just unpleasant.
4. Double Jeans
The term double jeans itself sounds a bit troubling. These double jeans are one pair of normal jeans with another pair along the mid-thigh.

5. Duvet Poncho
The duvet poncho is exactly what it sounds like. This is a poncho that looks like a style of bedding. Do people really want to look like they are wearing their bed comforter?

6. Ikea Fashion
Along with food fashion comes Ikea fashion. Tote bags, fanny packs, and many more carry the Ikea logo. Not only are these bags odd but are being sold for $2,145.

7. Crotchless Jeans
Another ridiculous product is crotchless jeans. These jeans have the waistband of normal jeans and pant legs but no crotch. The pant legs are connected to the waist of the jeans by thin pieces of denim.

8. Sweater Sleeves
The sweater sleeves sounds normal but in reality the sweater is far from it. The torso of the sweater is completely sheer with white and blue long sleeves. At first glance it appears to be only sleeves with nothing else. This item is just confusing.

9. Pre-destroyed Margiela Sneakers
One of the best feelings is to rip open a box of white clean new shoes, but with the pre-destroyed Margiela sneakers, it is a different story. These sneakers are a combination of white and yellow. They come all torn apart and cost $1,425.

10. Fluffy Loafers
The Fluffy loafers are a unique type of shoe. Picture an elderly woman shoe and a wad of dog hair. Now mix those two things and you get the fluffy loafers. These shoes are truly the definition of revolting. Half of the shoe is smooth black leather while the rest of it is fur.

To conclude all of these products have one thing in common, they need to stay in the shadows. These fashion trends are only some of the heaping pile in the fashion world. The majority of these clothing items look ridiculous and have ridiculous pricing. In the end, wear what you like and stay away from horror fashion.
