Our Population is Killing The Earth

As you may already know, our world's problems are steadily growing every year. Travesties suck as global warming and pollution are just some of the several disasters that the human race creates. The growth of these problems all point back to the rapid increasing of our population. As each person is added to our population, more unnecessary waste is added to our planet. Not only that, but each coming day, we have less and less space for the next generation.

One thing you may be asking yourself is, why is it the population has spread so quickly, so suddenly? Well, the answer is simple: as the years have passed, our technology and understanding of things, such as sickness and disease, has grown. This makes the life expectancy of an average human a lot longer. With Darwin’s “survival of the fittest,” man kind lived on for millions of years. You could say this no longer exists in health terms.

Now that us people won't be going anywhere any time soon, we need more living space to satisfy our needs. As we continue to develop land, the environment is destroyed because of its loss of natural land. More houses mean more pollution; buildings and cars emit gases into the air. People do too. If

you can believe it, we emit an

abundance of carbon dioxide, and

greenhouse gases as well. A good example of to many people and not enough space is China. How would you like to wear a

mask over your face whenever you

went outside? In China, people

have to, because the air is too

polluted to breathe. What we

need to do  as a community is

stop building and start restoring the space we have used. Also, its important to create more natural habitats for nature. If we continue, we will have less resources available to our massive population. During 2017, four nations; Nigeria, Somalia, South Sudan, and Yemen, were all at risk for famine due to their lack of resources.

During the 1960s scientist predicted that humanity would grow to have 9.7 billion people on earth by 2050. The same theory has also guessed that the poverty levels would increase dramatically in all countries. The reason being, is there is not nearly enough jobs, for the abundance of individuals that will one day live on this planet. Even today in the U.S we can see a steady decrease in careers. They say people might end up making as little as a 1.90 a day!

Will our earth prematurely come to an end because of humanity? I solely believe, that we can find a way to end this. Seeing that not only the earth, but the way we live and our economy can be affected by our population, people will start to make changes to this mess. Will you help too?
