The day a couple gets engaged is quite possibly the happiest day of their lives. Couples date for weeks, months, or even years before they get engaged. Many celebrities got engaged in 2017 and not only do celebrities celebrate their engagement, but also their fans.

Katie Cassidy

Matthew Rodgers proposed to Katie Cassidy, the star from the TV show Arrow, on May 31. Katie Posted a picture on Instagram with a caption, “I can’t wait to spend forever with you my darling!! I’m the luckiest girl in the whole world”. Katie and Mathew picked December 29th, 2018 to be married.

 

Marcus Grodd

Marcus Grodd, bachelor formerly married to Lacy Faddoul,

found his true love and proposed to Ally Lutar. Grodd

told People magazine “the minute I met her I knew this

is how you feel when you meet your wife for the first

time, Ally is gorgeous and strong – I was completely

drawn to her confidence.” He and Lutar soon got married

on January 6th, 2018.

Felicity Jones

Charles Guard proposed to Star Wars star, Felicity Jones

, in May of 2017. Guard and Jones have been dating for

2 years, and she hasn’t said much about the engagement,

but fans are sure she is exited. Jones and Guard have

yet to announce their wedding date.

Sterling Shepard

New York Giants NFL athlete, Sterling Shepard, proposed to supermodel, Chanel Iman, one day after her birthday. Iman posted on Instagram, “I’m beyond excited to spend the rest of my life with you @sterl_shep3 you are my soulmate, my best friend. My everything! Can’t wait to be your Mrs.” And Shepard posted on his Instagram, “the catch of my dreams…can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you!”

Prince Harry

Prince Harry proposed to former actress, Meghan Markle, after dating for over a year. He and Markle released their engagement photos and their wedding date. They plan to wed on May 19th,2018.
