Conspiracy theories have been extremely popular in 2017. Lots of 2017’s new theories have been recognized. Here are some of the best of conspiracy theories.  

1.Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian's surrogate are pregnant
 These rumors started around September 2017. Jenner is currently dating famous rapper Travis Scott. It started out with an instagram picture where she supposedly looked like she was pregnant. After the picture blew up, that's when people started to assume Kylie was pregnant. Shortly after, Kim announced that she was having a surrogate for her and Kanye West’s next child. After this news, some started believing that Jenner is holding Kim Kardashian’s baby. Kylie has not been showing her stomach in many pictures which is unlike her. So, what is the answer? Is Kylie Jenner pregnant with Kim Kardashian's baby? 

2. Next conspiracy theory on the list is that Facebook is listening to everything you say, so that they can promote ads based off things you have said. 
A couple started an experiment to try and prove this. They have never looked up cats or cat food and they do not have a cat. So, they talked about cat food all day. They discussed how they needed cat food around their phones. After two days a cat food ad was on Facebook promoting to go out and buy cat food. People started getting creeped out by this and testing their own experiments to see if the same thing would happen; and. it did. So, this makes you wonder: what can technology do? Do they always listen to you? How can you prevent this?  

3. 2017 used fidget spinners to distract the bad going on in the world. 
So, if you look up a fidget spinner you will see that they have been around for 20 years. We believe that people brought them back, so America would become distracted and not realize all the bad going on; such as events in the White House and ISIS attacks. Well, everyone is talking about fidget spinners. Kids have started bringing them to class, some even getting hurt by them and choking on pieces, which was, ironically, on the news more than the bad things. Fidget spinners became one of the top trending things in American in 2017. 

4.“I know exactly who you are,” the instagram account that blew up in 2017. 
So, the thought behind this Instagram psychic is that it can read people's pictures and see their futures based off them. This ‘person’ Instagram has been taken down about 4 times for “harassment and stalking.” He/she claims that they can just see into the future and into their past and know what will happen or when they are going to be happy. This has caused many problems for people, knowing this man knows about their lives. So, is this man a stalker/ hacker or is he really the best psychic in the world? We will never know the truth behind this account.  
5.YouTube turns people into serial killers. 

Some of these so called “killers” have been on Instagram longer than just 2017, but many people have notice that more Youtubers have killed in this year. One YouTuber known as “Mr. Anime,” who was very popular and had millions of views, killed his whole family. So, if you go on YouTube will you slowly become a killer?
